"Match the Daily Numbers"
May 1, 2013 through May 31, 2013

Rules

1.     Winning numbers are determined by the NYS Pick 3 Daily Number drawn each evening (7:35 p.m. EST).  Each ticket has     a unique 3-digit number.   (all numbers are played straight as drawn)

2.    A cash prize of $25 will be awarded for each winning number drawn Monday through Friday during the month of May 2013.

3.    A cash prize of $50 will be awarded for winning numbers drawn each Saturday and Sunday during the month of May 2013.

4.    Winners will be mailed a check within 30 days.
 
5.    Winning numbers and winners will be posted on our website on or before June 1, 2013.
 
6.     All ticket stubs and money must be returned to VC Vikings by April 19, 2013.

7.     All unsold tickets are the property of VC Vikings Youth Lacrosse and must be returned by April 19, 2013.

THE FUTURE IS HERE

Maverik Lacrosse announced today the launch of The Future is Here, the latest commercial in Maverik Lacrosse' Evolve the Player, Advance the Game campaign.  The Future is Here features a roster of Maverik athletes, including Peet Pollion, Joe Cinosky, John Christmas, and Billy Bitter.  

The Future is Here embodies the overall theme of the Evolve the Player, Advance the Game campaign- a passing of the torch to the next generation of lacrosse players. The 60-second cut is more reminiscent of an inspirational sports film than a traditional product focused commercial. The various backdrops were chosen to reflect areas of the country in which the sport is growing and represents Maveriks' continuing efforts to bring the sport to new audiences.

New Junior Vikings Program

This year we are proud to announce a new program to our organization, "Junior Vikings" lacrosse.  Focusing on stick skills such as passing, catching and cradling, players will learn the game of lacrosse through guided practice.  Later on in the season, this group will participate in controlled scrimmages against other towns.

We are very pleased to have Joe Kinsley join our VC Vikings Youth Lacrosse organization.  Joe will be the coach of this new program.  

The program will run from the beginning of April through the middle of June.  The cost of the three month Junior Vikings program is $50.  All players will need to register for membership with US Lacrosse which charges an annual fee of $25.

Each player will receive a Junior Vikings pinnie and a ball for home practice.


Boys will need the following equipment:
Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Arm Pads, Gloves, Stick, Mouthguard and Cleats

Girls will need the following equipment:
Stick, Goggles, Mouthguard and Cleats

There are many places to purchase lacrosse equipment.  There are local sports stores in the area like Play It Again Sports and Lacrosse Extension as well as Dicks Sporting Goods and Modells.  There are also online websites like lax.com, lacrossemonkey.com and sportstop.com.
